Our University community  must have a solid basis for informed discussion of these matters. To  this end, PROFS has assembled a distinguished panel of speakers  who will present four perspectives on this topic. The discussion will take place:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Thursday, March 10<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>4-5:30 pm<\/strong><br \/>\nWisconsin Idea Room, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.map.wisc.edu\/?initObj=bdg_EduBL&amp;z=75.69&amp;x=-0.312275&amp;y=-0.131628\">Education Building<\/a>, 1000 Bascom Mall<\/p>\n<p>Speakers include: <strong><em><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>University of Wisconsin Regent Tom Loftus<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>former Assistant to the Chancellor <\/strong><strong>Harry Peterson<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Professor Cyrena Pondrom <\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Professor Jeremi Suri <\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The panel is aimed at offering diverse views on the issue of public  authority status for UW-Madison independent of UW-System.
