Most leaders are returning to leadership positions and their selection was expected, but the election of <a href=\"http:\/\/legis.wisconsin.gov\/w3asp\/contact\/legislatorpages.aspx?house=senate&amp;district=7\">Senator Chris Larson<\/a> of Milwaukee as Democratic leader was a bit of a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jsonline.com\/news\/statepolitics\/outside-groups-tried-to-sway-votes-for-democrats-senate-leader-n47lmlo-179522961.html\">surprise<\/a>. The first-term legislator defeated <a href=\"http:\/\/legis.wisconsin.gov\/w3asp\/contact\/legislatorpages.aspx?house=senate&amp;district=27\">Senator Jon Erpenbach<\/a> of Middleton, who was considered the front-runner for the post after serving in the legislature since 1999.<\/p>\n<p>Republicans selected <a href=\"http:\/\/legis.wisconsin.gov\/w3asp\/contact\/legislatorpages.aspx?house=assembly&amp;district=63\">Representative Robin Vos<\/a> of Burlington to replace Speaker Jeff Fitzgerald who gave up his seat to run for United States Senate. Vos is currently co-chair of the Joint Finance Committee. Vos said that he will work in a bipartisan fashion, &#8220;My style is one of inclusiveness. I want everyone to feel I will always listen.&#8221; At the same time, he promised Republicans will pursue an &#8220;aggressive\u00a0agenda.&#8221; The <em>Milwaukee Journal Sentinel<\/em> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jsonline.com\/news\/statepolitics\/nine-lawmakers-back-charging-federal-officials-who-implement-obamacare-here-n47kl10-179180251.html\">reported<\/a> earlier this week that nine Assembly Republicans have gone on record with their support of legislation that would declare the Affordable Care Act &#8212;
