The forum is free and open to the public. There will be ample time for questions from the audience.<\/p>\n<p>The forum features three experts on the state budget process &#8212; La Follette School of Public Affairs professor\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.lafollette.wisc.edu\/facultystaff\/reschovsky-andrew.html\">Andrew Reschovsky<\/a>, Vice Chancellor for Finance and Administration\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.vc.wisc.edu\/Biography.html\">Darrell Bazzell<\/a>, and City of Madison Finance Director and former State Budget Director\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cityofmadison.com\/news\/view.cfm?news_id=2753\">David Schmiedicke<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Possible topics of discussion include block grant funding for UW System, the possibility of a pay plan, performance-based funding, and tax policy and how it may affect other budget items.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Reminder!
