The meeting will be held in the Symphony Room of <a href=\"http:\/\/map.wisc.edu\/s\/ccfkbsuz\">Gordon Dining and Event Center<\/a>, 770 West Dayton Street. Livestream coverage of the meeting will be available <a href=\"http:\/\/www.uwex.edu\/ics\/stream\/regents\/meetings\/\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The regents will\u00a0host several <a href=\"http:\/\/profs.wisc.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/November-BoR-workforce-issues2.pdf\">panel discussions on Wisconsin&#8217;s workforce issues<\/a>, and UW System Interim Senior Vice President David Ward and UW-Madison Provost Sarah Mangelsdorf will present <a href=\"http:\/\/profs.wisc.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/November-BoR-accountability-reports2.pdf\">accountability reports\u00a0for 2013-14<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Chancellor Rebecca Blank will be among four chancellors discussing UW System&#8217;s response\u00a0to workforce needs around the state. Other participants include Todd Berry of the Wisconsin Taxpayers Alliance; Reggie Newson, Secretary of the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development; Todd Battle, President of the Kenosha Area Business Alliance; Mark Tyler, President of OEM Fabricators; and Kathi Seifert, former Executive Vice President of Kimberly-Clark.<\/p>\n<p>Governor Scott Walker was invited to the meeting, but a spokesperson <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/sbauerAP\/status\/530020615655538688\">said<\/a> he will not attend.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The University of Wisconsin System Board of Regents will meet\u00a0at 9 am tomorrow, Thursday, November 6, at UW-Madison.
