Livestream coverage of the full board portions of the meeting is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wisconsin.edu\/regents\/board-of-regents-video-streaming\/\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The board meets in committee Thursday morning:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wisconsin.edu\/regents\/download\/meeting_materials\/2019\/july_11-12,_2019\/0-Educ-Comm-packet-final-July-2019-BOR-mtg.pdf\">Education Committee<\/a> will consider approval of several degree programs throughout UW-System and the faculty layoff and termination policies at UW-La Crosse and UW-Platteville.<\/li><li>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wisconsin.edu\/regents\/download\/meeting_materials\/2019\/july_11-12,_2019\/Binder1.pdf\">Business and Finance Committee<\/a> will consider contractual agreements at several campuses and hear an update on the title and total compensation study.<\/li><li>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wisconsin.edu\/regents\/download\/meeting_materials\/2019\/july_11-12,_2019\/0719_CPB_Agenda_Combined.pdf\">Capital Planning and Budget Committee<\/a> will discuss several construction projects and hear updates on the State Building Commission and capital budget.<\/li><li>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wisconsin.edu\/regents\/download\/meeting_materials\/2019\/july_11-12,_2019\/REDI-July-2019-FINAL-AGENDA.pdf\">Research, Economic Development, and Innovation Committee<\/a> will hear updates on several programs, including one from the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation.<\/li><li>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wisconsin.edu\/regents\/download\/meeting_materials\/2019\/july_11-12,_2019\/July-2019-BOR.pdf\">Audit Committee<\/a> will hear an update on internal audits and UW System&#8217;s response to the Legislative Audit Bureau&#8217;s annual UW System audit.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The full board meets Thursday afternoon and Friday morning. The meeting begins with the introduction of new Regents and an update from UW System President Ray Cross. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Later, the board <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wisconsin.edu\/regents\/download\/meeting_materials\/2019\/july_11-12,_2019\/Full-Board-Thursday-Agenda-and-Materials-(July-11,-2019).pdf\">will vote<\/a> on 2019-20 annual operating budget. All four-year campuses, including UW-Madison, are slated for modest fee increases of .1-2 percent. The board will also hear presentations on UW System&#8217;s Wisconsin Small Business Development Center Network, student behavioral health, and UW System&#8217;s shared financial and human resources systems. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Friday, the board <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wisconsin.edu\/regents\/download\/meeting_materials\/2019\/july_11-12,_2019\/Full-Board-Friday-Agenda-and-Materials-(July-12,-2019).pdf\">will hear<\/a> updates from Regent President Drew Petersen and UW System President Ray Cross. UW-Madison Pediatrics Professor Dipesh Navsaria will participate in a panel discussion on early child brain development.
