The resolution also called for the Board of Regents to add faculty, staff and students to the committee. Similar resolutions <a href=\"https:\/\/madison.com\/wsj\/news\/local\/education\/university\/uw-regents-won-t-expand-presidential-search-panel-despite-pleas\/article_31118e74-1328-5e43-b84a-6fc5d219ca8b.html?utm_medium=social&amp;utm_source=twitter&amp;utm_campaign=user-share\">have passed<\/a> at every comprehensive and doctoral campus within UW System.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Regent President Andrew Petersen <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wisconsin.edu\/news\/archive\/uw-system-presidential-search-committee-named\/\">named<\/a> members of the search committee in early November, drawing criticism from governance groups and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wispolitics.com\/2019\/assembly-democrats-call-for-broader-representation-on-uw-system-presidential-search-committee-2\/\">legislators<\/a>.
