All meetings take place in the James R. Connor University Center, 228 Wyman Mall. Livestream coverage of the full board portions of the meeting is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wisconsin.edu\/regents\/board-of-regents-video-streaming\/\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Regents meet in committee Thursday morning: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wisconsin.edu\/regents\/download\/meeting_materials\/2019\/december_5-6,_2019\/Audit-Committee---December-5,-2019.pdf\">Audit and Business and Finance Committees<\/a> will meet jointly to discuss the annual external audit and the Legislative Audit Bureau Report on Personnel Systems Recommendations. <\/li><li>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wisconsin.edu\/regents\/download\/meeting_materials\/2019\/december_5-6,_2019\/Audit-Committee---December-5,-2019.pdf\">Audit Committee<\/a> will hear a presentation on key risks in higher education and discuss the internal audit and internal controls and enterprise risk management.<\/li><li>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wisconsin.edu\/regents\/download\/meeting_materials\/2019\/december_5-6,_2019\/Capital-Planning-&amp;-Budget-Committee---December-5,-2019.pdf\">Capital Planning and Budget Committee<\/a> will hear a presentation from UW-Whitewater on deferred maintenance and consider several capital projects and lease agreements throughout UW System. <\/li><li>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wisconsin.edu\/regents\/download\/meeting_materials\/2019\/december_5-6,_2019\/REDI-Committee---December-5,-2019.pdf\">Research, Economic Development and Innovation Committee<\/a> will preview the Regent Scholar Grant Program and hear presentations on transforming communities through data and high tech food production.<\/li><li>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wisconsin.edu\/regents\/download\/meeting_materials\/2019\/december_5-6,_2019\/Business-&amp;-Finance-Committee---December-5,-2019.pdf\">Business and Finance Committee<\/a> will hear reports on compensation,  faculty turnover, operational excellence and trust funds and consider several contractual agreements, including six at UW-Madison.<\/li><li>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wisconsin.edu\/regents\/download\/meeting_materials\/2019\/december_5-6,_2019\/Education-Committee---December-5,-2019-(no-WPP-report).pdf\">Education Committee<\/a> will consider several new degree programs and hear reports on <a href=\"http:\/\/profs.wisc.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/UW-Madison-enrollment.pdf\">UW-Madison enrollment<\/a>, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wisconsin.edu\/regents\/download\/meeting_materials\/2019\/december_5-6,_2019\/Wisconsin-Partnership-Program-FY19-Annual-Report.pdf\">Wisconsin Partnership Program<\/a>, and the Freshwater Collaborative of Wisconsin.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The full board <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wisconsin.edu\/regents\/download\/meeting_materials\/2019\/december_5-6,_2019\/All-Regents---December-5-6,-2019.pdf\">meets<\/a> Thursday afternoon and Friday morning. Thursday, UW System President Ray Cross and UW-Whitewater Chancellor Dwight Watson will speak before the board moves into closed session.
