PROFS Asks Governor Walker to Veto Center for Investigative Journalism Provision

PROFS formally requested (see below) that Governor Scott Walker veto a budget provision that would force the Wisconsin Center for Investigative Journalism off campus and forbid faculty from working with the center, a serious breach of academic freedom. The governor said yesterday he would sign the budget on Sunday in Pleasant Prairie, but some vetoes may be announced before then.
