The University of Wisconsin System Board of Regents will meet Thursday, December 10 via Webex videoconference. A link to the Webex registration is here.
Regents meet in committee Thursday morning:
The Business and Finance Committee will discuss graduate and professional program tuition increases at UW-Madison, two collective bargaining agreements, and several contractual agreements at UW-Madison. The committee will also hear annual reports on faculty turnover and salary adjustments and compensation.
The Education Committee will consider new degree programs at UW-Milwaukee and UW-Oshkosh and hear a presentation on the UW System Prison Education Initiative.
The Audit Committee will hear updates on several audits and the Youth Compliance and Protections program.
The Capital Planning and Budget Committee will consider approval of several building projects, including two at UW-Madison and hear reports on solely managed capital projects, leasing agreements and the 2021-23 capital budget.
The Research, Economic Development and Innovation Committee will hear an update from WiSys Technology Foundation and have discussions on faculty research and entrepreneurship and career opportunities for students.
The full board meets in the afternoon. They will hear reports from Board President Andrew Petersen and Interim President Tommy Thompson. The board will discuss several items, including the 2021-23 employee pay plan and the UW System Prison Education Initiative, before moving into closed session.
