UW System President Kevin Reilly and chancellors from all UW System campuses, including Chancellor David Ward, offered an editorial in the October 28 Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. Reilly et al write that the cut to UW System is disproportionate and students will suffer the consequences of such a large cut. They go on to say that they “are working to get answers to these concerns through civil and constructive dialogue. We are also reiterating the UW System’s role as an economic engine, and asking state leaders to develop a fairer plan – one that protects UW students.”
