The Office of State Employment Relations is recommending that state employees, including faculty at UW-Madison, receive a one-percent pay increase in each of the next two years. This will be the first pay raise for faculty since 2008.
The recommendation comes in the form of a letter to members of the Joint Committee on Employment Relations (JCOER). JCOER will meet tomorrow at 10 am in Room 412 East of the State Capitol to discuss and take executive action on the state employee pay plan. The hearing is open to the public, but the committee may go into closed session to discuss collective bargaining.
