PROFS is pleased to cosponsor an open discussion about the future of the the public university with Interim Chancellor David Ward.
The conversation, “How Can the University Sustain Access and Excellence in an Age of Austerity,” will take place at 4 pm on Thursday, February 2 in the 1924 Room on the third floor of the Memorial Union. Sociology professor Joe Elder will moderate the discussion, which will also include responses from Educational Policy Studies professor Sara Goldrick-Rab and Law professor Joel Rogers.
The Wisconsin University Union is the primary sponsor of this event, which is open to the public.
