Alumni for Wisconsin Advocacy Event

500x125_alumni4wiUW-Madison alumni have long been advocates for the university, and each year the Wisconsin Alumni Association hosts a fall meeting to provide alumni and friends with a legislative update. This year’s meeting will be held on Saturday, October 16, and faculty are invited to attend.

Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs Paul DeLuca, Bacteriology professor Cameron Currie, University Research Park Director Mark Bugher, and Political Science professor Charles Franklin are scheduled to address the group.

The gathering will be held at the Microbial Sciences Building, 1550 Linden Drive, and begins at 2 pm. Attendees are invited to stay for a pregame tailgate party at 4 pm following the meeting. The tailgate is free to meeting attendees, and guests may purchase additional tailgate tickets for $10.

Register online by October 11.
