A few reminders about voting today:
- Polls are open until 8 pm. You may vote as long as you are in line to vote by 8 pm. If you live in the City of Madison and are unsure where to vote, you may find your polling place here. Statewide polling information is here.
- Photo identification is NOT required to vote.
- You may register to vote at the polls as long as you have lived at your current residence for 28 days or more and have acceptable proof of residence (A Wisconsin drivers license or ID card with your address, a property tax bill, a recent utility bill, a bank statement, a paycheck, or a lease. - Early voters can check the status of their ballot here. The site, My Vote Wisconsin, also provides voters with their voting history.
- Any voting concerns or questions should be made to the chief election inspector at the polling place, then the voter’s municipal clerk. If questions or concerns persist, contact the Government Accountability Board at 866-VOTEWIS (866-868-3947).
