The Wisconsin spring primary election will be held tomorrow, Tuesday, February 19. A primary election for the Wisconsin Supreme Court is the only statewide race on the ballot. Incumbent Justice Pat Roggensack faces challengers Ed Fallone of Whitefish Bay and Vince Megna of Menomonee Falls. Fallone is a law professor at Marquette University and Megna is an attorney in private practice specializing in automobile lemon law cases. The top two vote-getters will face off on Tuesday, April 2.
There is one state legislative race on the ballot — five Republicans are facing off in a special election in the 98th Assembly District (Waukesha County). The seat became open last December when State Representative Paul Farrow was elected to the 33rd Senate District in a special election. There are no Democrats running the race, meaning the top finisher will almost certainly win the April 2 general election.
