The University of Wisconsin System Board of Regents is meeting in Milwaukee today and tomorrow, June 6 and 7. The regents will hear an update about the 2013-15 biennial budget Thursday morning and meet in committees Thursday afternoon. They are scheduled to be in closed session Friday morning. The agenda is here.
The Business, Finance, and Audit Committee will discuss recommendations for a 2013-15 pay plan. The Board of Regents plan directs UW System President Kevin Reilly to recommend to the Director of the Office of State Employment Relations a proposal that would provide “a salary increase to all UW System employees no less that that provided for all other state employees for each year of the 2013-15 biennium funded through the state compensation reserve.”
The recommendation also requests that tuition not be used for the pay plan; that retirement, health insurance, and supplemental sick leave conversion benefits continue to be made available to all eligible UW System employees and to match those offered to other state employees; and that the Board of Regents be provided an opportunity to request a supplemental pay plan for each year of the biennium.
Audio and video streaming of Regent meetings is available here.
