Chancellor Biddy Martin hosted the first of three campus forums about the proposed Badger Partnership yesterday.
Two forums remain — one at noon on Tuesday, October 19 in the Plenary Room in Grainger Hall, 975 University Avenue and the other at 2 pm on Wednesday, October 20 in the Friends of the Waisman Auditorium in the Waisman Center, 1500 Highland Avenue.
Martin’s proposal is designed to provide the university with greater management flexibility as state support diminishes. Her original proposal is here. PROFS has actively encouraged a campus conversation about the funding of public higher education through a series of forums on the subject, most recently on September 22.
